Annoying Automatic Closing Tags

Anyone know how to disable that annoying feature that constantly, and with no
heuristics, writes the end tag, when I type the '>' for an opening tag? I'm
usually editing existing code in DW and almost never want the end tag
immediately after the end tag.

Go to EDIT / PREFERENCES, then the code hints link. In options, uncheck
"enable auto tag completion".
