Animated text background problem

To put it simply. I created an animated text that fades in . I created it in
FW. When I insert the animation in Dreamweaver the animation works fine but
there is a white background behind it that blocks out the background. I have
not been able to find a way to make only the text visible and the transparent
background that it is on transparent.
I had the same problem when I made the same animation in Photoshop and tried
to use it. I have not been able to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Before exporting from FW, you need to select a color to make transparent.
Make the background color of your animation the transparent color and then
export.
