Hi there, has anyone come across this problem? Dreamweaver MX 2004. Ive been working with anchors on various pages blar blar. But now they don't work? They worked earlier today as I was developing a new page but when it came to testing none of them were working?? So as a test... created a table on a untitled document. 1 column and 30 rows. placed an anchor on row 30 (aaaa) Row one entered text aaaa created a link #aaa Previewed in my browser and nothing! clicking on the link the page wont move to row 30? Ive recreated the site cache, no change. But pages I created weeks ago continue to work? Any idea's |

Ive done some reading and found out that Dreamweaver does not like Anchors in Tables !! So up to now creating Anchors in tables ive been lucky. But it works on a page of text. So splitting my tables and putting anchors out side the tables worked... Not the best work around but the only one a could fined. Thanks for the reply "Kindler Chase" <weaver (AT) DELETE_ME_roubaixinteractive (DOT) com> wrote in message news:bufb68$t6a$1 (AT) forums (DOT) macromedia.com... All the anchors worked instantly with no other code changes once they were removed from the tables. This is an issue in DW. Previously I have found that renaming the anchors sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. |
