Default AllWebMenus update and Mac issues - 08-04-2004 , 08:23 AM

Hello Murray and friends,
Well, yes I bought the Project 7 Menu Magic and yes it is marvelous. but but
but...

Tech support from Linkno, the AllWebMenu's team wrote me an email responding
to all the stuff you guys threw at me yesterday with a product update,
including numerous fixes etc.

So at www.versoul.com I have recompiled the menu and uploaded. Last Chance
for them to prove themselves before I make the switch to P7.

The issues if you remembner were Mac IE 5 versions and Safari all versions
(if the menu links work then great) and the pop-up windows on model
specifications.

If all ok then I'll fix my other site the same way.

Thanks for your time again. If it doesn't work a brief - Doesn't work- will
do.
Bud

Nobody recommended that you do this. It's nice, but you do not need it to
make simple drop-down menus. All you really need is the free extensions and
some study of the methods taught there.

Linkno fails the test. I can see no difference in IE5/Mac. The menu is as
balky and unusable now as it was yesterday (?).

Mac IE5 still doesnt work. Cant get to the linked pages from the menus.
Safari pop-ups, from the thumbnails, do now work.

Nope. The menus themselves still fail in IE5, and in the exact same way.

If you paid for this menuing system, get your money back. Go with
Project VII. All of their products are extensively tested and will work
in all known browsers. And they have their own support forum. Save
yourself the grief. Really.

That's because of using two domains.

In Firefox/PC I don't see any menu at all. I see the splash page, then the
ABOUT US page. But no menu.

Hello Gentle Giants,

Linkno - AllWebMenus support mailed me to say that all the js files on the
server were not of the correct build.
Hence still the Mac IE5 problems.

Now I have deleted the older files and uploaded the newly compiled files to
the server.

I believe they really want to fix this for me and should give them the
benefit of the doubt (and any errors I may have made).

www.versoul.com , simple check to Models>acoustic>Zoel (pop up) would tell
me if we are up and running

PS, the Project 7 Menu Magic is great and no regrets on spending that 90
bucks. Afterall, the taxman would have got it anyway.

Bless you,
'little' Bud
