Default Adding Search Engine in CS4? - 03-26-2009 , 12:15 PM

Is there a new way to do this in CS4? I know Nancy has posted some links
but I cannot find them. I do not want a branded google search tho. I would
like my own brand. Thanks in advance.

It has nothing to do with Dreamweaver.

What sort of database do you have?

Try doing a searching "FTS" and "Full Text Search"

SQL 2005 and 2008 both have FTS. It works pretty good for searching a
database but if it's just a site you want to search, you could probably
create a small text file or xml with keywords and links that point to
pages that are applicable.

Google has an ajax api that some people are using...Yahoo too.

Create search by storing keywords, title, id in database create a form on search page with action to results script then use SQL to query the results. What scripting language do you intend on using?
