Default active content blocker problems - 12-01-2006 , 02:46 PM

I'm new to all of this, so my question may be fairly basic, but I'd really
appreciate some help!
Whenever I add any behaviour, or add a flash button then preview in IE7, the
content is blocked by Windows. You have to click on the top of the page to
disable this. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

Cheers, but I was wondering whether I could do anything in Dreamweaver to prevent the content being blocked on a computer with active content blocker on.

Many thanks

This is a feature in the browser. Allows the viewer more control over what
content they want to see.
There's nothing you can do about it as far as someone else's machine goes.
Dreamweaver is just a web development tool that helps you code your webpage.
This code is then parsed and executed by the browser. It is at the browser end
that active content is blocked or allowed etc. Dreamweaver has nothing to do
with it at all

The reason for active content being blocked, because of law requirement on
behalf of MS case for quite time.

Not only that, but also for security implications reason as well. This is to
make Internet users to be aware of possible naughty files being downloaded to
whatever web browser or to computer...

There are numerous reasons to it. Perhaps some experts say it better than I do.

It only affects viewing files local to the machine. It will not affect
pages viewed on the Internet.
