Default Absolute Center - 09-30-2004 , 06:04 PM

DAMN IT!
I must have looked thru the preferences a dozen times to find out why I can't
create 1 table (100% x 100%) then throw another table inside that one and make
it absolute centered so no matter how you set your browser size... the display
is always center of the browser window.

Funny thing is - I used to be able to do this in the properties in DW4.0 no
problem. Ever since I went and purchased the full copy of Studio MX 2000 Pro I
have been unable to do this with 04?.

WHY IS THAT!?

That's because DW4 relied on browsers being in "quirks" mode and DMX2004 is
much smarter than that.

hey, i feel you man... did you ever find the answer? its the same question i am
asking right now, even with dw8... the funny thing is that i can do it with
regular html if i code it by hand, but something with the w3c stuff does not
allow it with the websites that i make with dw.

ok, so now, just looking at one of the other forums solved the problem. it was
just a matter of using the right keywords to search for the solution. but hey,
no one will ever read this because the problem has been solved elsewhere.

I am looking for a solution for this. Any solutions?

You should've posted the solution here wonicryer... I can't read your mind and automatically know where the answer is.
