Default _notes - 10-31-2005 , 03:51 PM

So I disabled _notes in my site settings but yet the _notes folder still
appears in every folder every time I make changes to a file located in that
folder.

How can I make this annoying _notes folder go away permanently?

Thank you.

Selecting "Site>Manage Sites" display the "Manage Sites" pane. Then choose a
site and click Edit. It will open Site Definition Pane' advanced section by
default. On the category list you'll see design notes. Click it and uncheck
"Maintain Design Notes".

Alper,

Thanks for the reply.

I've done exactly as you said, but the stupid _notes folders still appear in
my root folder.

How can I get these _notes folders to go away for good?

Nice sig by the way.

Clicking clean up button near the "Maintain Design Notes" check box, you can
clean them up.

@Malcolm:

rint.html in this situation yes you have to enable them.

I've done that. I unchecked "Maintain Design Notes" and I clicked the "Clean
Up" button and yet they STILL show up!

Why?

Please help.

Thank you.
