Input for special numbers

How build input form where we can put only 9 digits, and after first 3
digits join '-', and after next two digits again join '-'?
Like this: 342-23-4323

Only numbers, but '-' will be added automatic!
Without plugin, only very simple solution

I know this plugin, but I want without plugin, simple function (maybe
without jquery?)
