I have a problem to detect actual folder path in a HTML page by IE5 on Mac

If this is just for OS-X why not just use the Apache webserver, which
is already there.

Thank you for your response, Jim.

I'm attempting to create a "Music sampler CD" which is consist of a bunch of
music (ASF) files and preview pages. Actually a Windows Media Player plug-in
is embedded in such preview pages. And my company doesn't allow users to
publish this CD on web server due to the licensing policy. Users are just
allowed to listen musics from local CD drive or local hard drive.

I'm wondering whether Apache is installed on all OSX machines or not.
If it's true, is there any generic way to access local CD drive by http:
URL?

TK
