Re: Javascript doesn't work

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, so if it isn't
I'll happily check elsewhere if someone will tell me where. Anyway my
problem is that whenever I go to a website running javascript for "click-on"
buttons, nothing happens. I have tried checking with IE6, Netscape & Opera
& the problem exists in all 3 browsers. I have tried totally disabling my
firewall & antivirus programs but with no results. I have also updated to
the latest Java, ActiveX & Flashmedia software available which didn't fix
the problem. Also I cannot recall anything specific being installed or
changed around the time when the problem started occuring. If anyone has
any suggestions I would appreciate them.

I assume this is a Windows box? Which Windows and which service pack?
Does your OS do auto updates? Were any patches applied?
