Hi, My company is developing web applications for IE6. (It's a closed environment, so we don't have to worry about compatibility issues with other browsers.) I need a debugging tool which can capture the flow of events from IE6 and show me where the error is. The free script debugger never seems to point to the right file, let alone the right line. On the other hand, when I worked on a machine with Visual C Studio installed, I was able to apply the full debugging environment to Javascript. My question is; can use any of the present crop of MS Visual .NET development tools to debug IE6 javascript? My guess would be yes, and to use MS Visual Basic .NET Standard, but I don't want to buy it and find out it doesn't do what I want it to do. And MS don't seem to be advertising it as a JS debugging tool. |
