newbie: how to debug JavaScript

All,

Comming from the C++ world and starting to write JavaScript under
IE/Netscape/Mozilla.
What is the best way to debug JS?
Is there any debugger for this? The optimal for me will be to be able to
start the page in the debugger so I can walk over the script code line by
line.

Mozilla > Tools > Web Dev > js console
