Default Looking For Online/Book References... - 05-23-2008 , 07:23 PM

Hello.

I'm new to the javascript world, but almost complete with reading the two
books I've purchased so I do have some knowledge.

However, none of the books I have provide me with enough exercises to build
my skill. I'm looking for a book or an online site that has a lot of
exercises for me to practice.

Do you know of any?

Any references will be much appreicated.

You could try to reproduce all the examples on the YUI site without
using the YUI library or peeking at the answers.

http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/

For example

http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examp...rop/index.html

There are many examples like the second URL for the different YUI
libraries.

http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examp...kie/index.html

http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/examples/dom/index.html

etc

Maybe you can use this site http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp

/Tine
Appreciate everyones response...It looks like I'm going to have to come up
with my own test and examples. I guess this would make more since, especially
since I already know HTML/CSS and can come up with my own idea for a site....

http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp

is more of a comprehensive mutiple choice exam...but it's cool.

Thanks

But you should not. Google is your friend. [psf 6.1]

Prototype.js was written by people who don't know javascript for people
who don't know javascript. People who don't know javascript are not
the best source of advice on designing systems that use javascript.
