Rich Text Problem

Hi there,
i'm a new user of jasvascript so be patient if this question is newbie's
style

I've created a Rich Text Editor for a site using an iFrame. It works but
when a press the ENTER key button the editor creates a 2 lines space, it
adds a <p> but i want that it adds a <br>... how can i do?

usually shift+enter makes a single line break.
