JAVA HELP

Hello

I am looking at trying to create a JAVA scipt the will

(1) launch a little dialog widow wth a field for username onle (passowrd not
required)

(2) when inputted, forward to a seperate page with a drop list, that oncel
selected launches a page that needs the userid from the step able and
inserts in into a specific spot in a URL.
