Default detecting if frame was refreshed - 08-31-2005 , 05:23 AM

I've got a frame structure with two frames. Now the boss wants a feature in
it that sets a timer in the status bar counting down time until session
expires. The counter and statusbar are not the problem. The problem is that
counter needs to be resetted to start over when any new content is loaded.
That is: when one of the frames are reloaded. Is there a way to detect in
the frame structure page, that one of the pages were refreshed, or do I need
to change each and every possible page that may be loaded, to reset the
counter?

One possible solution occurred to me, and that is to poll the locations
every now and then, like once a minute, to see if they have changed since
last poll. But is there a more direct way to capture the event of a frame
being reloaded?
