Default URL-Wechsel verhindern, prevent that URL changes - 08-23-2003 , 09:19 AM

Hallo,

www.Test1.com nach dem ertsen Link in www.Geocities.com/XYZ
ändert?

Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe!

MfG
Torsten

Hello, how can I prevent that URL changes?
Example: I have a Domain (for example: www.Test1.com)
with forwarding, this forwarding left I on a server for
example with www.Geocities.com/XYZ.
How can I prevent that the URL of
www.Test1.com changes after the first link in www.Geocities.com/XYZ?

Thank you for your assistance!

MfG Torsten

URLs aren't an HTML matter, in any language.

You are apparently trying to _hide_ the real URL. Just stop trying.

In any case, you cannot do that in HTML.

You can do what's called a hidden frame (a dummy frameset with one frame
containing zero pixels), because then the URL change won't be visible to
most browsers. The real solution however is to pay for your domain and
upload your files. Anything else is just a workaround that causes many
more other problems (frames can't be easily printed, bookmarked, linked
and so on).
