The test page follows. Clicking the button brings up a message box announcing that the browser had enter the function intended to populate the text area. Dismissing the message box leads to the message box being populated with a dozen lines. At least, that's what happens with Firefox. With IE, clicking the button does nothing. Any idea why? No, since it works in IE6 here. |

title>An "HTML 4.01 Strict" compliant document</title No, it is not. Lots of errors, mostly because you use XHTML syntax in an HTML document. Good point. I've been consulting a bunch of sources to achieve this compliance. Did removal of the "<?xml" header and other stuff from the DTD bring my page into compliance? Code follows. No. You did not correct any of the errors. |
