premature end to some pages..

I inherited this website from another - made some changes, and now, a
few pages are ending prematurely. I can not figure out why. Can you
help?

go to: http://www.smallplanet.org/about_us/frances_lappe/

then click on "current ventures" in the left column.

This next page, and several others, end prematurely with a bar. Most
other pages display just fine.

any ideas on where to look?

I would be happy to help you, but your web site says that my browser
(Opera) is not supported.

I would suggest running the page through a validator and fixing the
errors.

Simply stupid.

More stupid is the reliance on javascript. Without it the menu is simply not
there.

This site needs *serious* work.

Have you tried running your page through these validators:

http://validator.w3.org/ (will validate html)

http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ (will validate CSS)

I've found both sites extremely helpful when trying to track down
"odd" problems. Who knows, maybe correcting a coding error elsewhere
in the page may correct the problem you're seeing.
