excel fixed colums effect on a website without frames

Hi,

I want to make an effect like in excel when you fix colums and then
you can scroll the rest colums behind the fixed.

But I won't or can't do this with frames, so has anybody seen a
website or an example with this effect. Maybe dhtml or even with css
or something else like that.
