DHTML is NOT a language. DHTML is a marketing term for HTML,

DHTML is a marketing termed originally coined by Microsoft [1] as a way
to describe IE4's implementation of, and collectively refer to: HTML,
CSS, JScript and the DOM, including their proprietary extensions. It is
not a language in itself, it's a buzz word and, as clearly demonstrated
by your question, its use blurs the distinction between each individual
language and often results in people thinking that HTML, CSS, JS, and
the DOM are all the same thing, rather than separate technologies that
can be used together.

These days, the term is more often associated with the use of outdated,
inaccessible, "old-school" techniques used to add useless bells and
whistles to web pages. As a result, there are attempts to replace the
term "DHTML" with newer buzzwords like "DOM Scripting" [2] and "AJAX".
