the function where the user can login. Instead of using the current
database, i would like the page to open a different database on my
computer for the username and password. Even simply limiting the login
to a single account (eg: username-bond and password-bond) only will
do. Can anyone help me with this?? I don not want any other changes.

That appears to be happening in an ASP page.

I think you posted to the wrong newsgroup. It looks to me like you want
to tweak the ASP page that the JavaScript calls.
