This is a CSS2 attribute that provides information about a font to help
clients choose an alternative when the named font is unavailable.

I'm not sure how many browsers support it. In fact I'm not sure if *any*
browsers support it.

If you're interested in finding out what these numbers mean, then take a
look at <http://www.agfamonotype.com/printer/pan1.asp>

Google for 'panose CSS' too much like hard work? The first hit is to
the CSS spec.

Naw, it's not too much work, but as it was coming from a MS word
composed email my first thought was that it was a MS proprietary
extension and I wanted a more or less objective view.
