Default text baloons don't show in IE - 01-04-2009 , 08:47 PM

Hi,

I was changing the comments style on my personal web site (coding is not
particularly neat, so be warned).

What I can't figure out (debugged for over 8 hours; both have been
stripping it down and rebuilding things from a working example) is why
in IE7 only the last comment shows up properly and preceding comments
only show their title.

Using IE developer tools it looks like one comment li spans two comments
which is not the case when using Firebug. It also looks like to me that
something shifts over the content area of the comment, but I have no
clue what that can be.

Sometimes so. else sees things you oversee yourself quickly. So if
someone might take a look at it that will be kindly appreciated (I am
not looking for a web site review btw).

Roderik

For me it looks the same in IE7 and Firefox.

Thanks for looking.
I just fixed it, a friend helped me out. It was related to the negative
margin assigned to the comments area. It doesn't really explain the
exposed behaviour but I am happy it fixed it finally.
