I have been biding my time, read just about every post so far in this
thread and my personal experience of your appearance is...

You jumped in here thinking that ciwas is a "help desk" (I'm referring
to your very first post of June 16).

You did not follow standard usenet procedures to "lurk for some time
before you make your first post", following that you missed the
"atmosphere" of this NG.

You have been properly bashed from that, but also got some good input
from more "gentle" frequent characters in this NG.

Still; your input, as quoted above, is an insult to this NG.

You will find that out for your self if you decide to stay. You are
welcome here but "tune down your pipe" a bit, and you will find that the
most "advanced" tricks of CSS are in fact to be found among discussions
that goes on here.

As have I.

So ignore it, and don't be so damned precious.

You are welcome here but...
No-one needs your (or the usual suspects') welcome to read or post to
any newsgroup they choose. I'm surprized to see you involve yourself
in this silly thread, Roland. I thought you were better than that.

So you're saying I've got to read every post, even if the
subject sounds nothing like what I'm trying to find out about...
There's a big section in each and every human mind that is dedicated
to the storage of "useless knowledge". Available content in that
storage area helps the normal associative problem solving process in
more "important" areas.

So, in practice, if you need to solve a specific style sheet problem
you will find that easier to do if your personal "database" has some
content in it, even if that content does not directly relate to your
problem.
