I would like to make a page that has pictures alternating on the left
and right sides of the screen and a caption below each picture. So
for example, if there was a picture of a butterfly on the left side of
the screen below it would be the words, "Monarch butterfly".

After each picture (each of which is a different size) would be a few
paragraphs and a horizontal rule. I would like the first picture
(which is on the left side of the screen) to have some text to the
right of it as well, centered both horizonatally and vertically
relative to the picture. While I could (and did) do this easily with
tables I'd like to use CSS to make it easily accessable for the blind.

How should I go about this?
