I have a page at: http://p0c79.phpwebhosting.com/~p0c79/testbusiness.html which opens as expected, but an identical page, (except for the text content of the scrolling div ![]() http://p0c79.phpwebhosting.com/~p0c79/testbusiness2.html opens up with the content of the scrolling div spilling over the right side of the screen. |

Validation brings up warnings about no alt attribute in a lot of the images, I will get round to putting them in, |

I know the javascript links in the menu is bad, |

On my PC, using Mozilla 1.3 - both pages look "the same", but the div doesn't have a scrollbar - only the page does. On my PC, using IE 6 - both pages look "the same", and the div does scroll, as well as the page. On all four pages, in the 'footer', the 'copyright line' below your name & email address is cut off - the lower half of the line isn't visible in my browser's viewport, whether or not I disable toolbars, or switch to full-screen mode. -- Dave Patton Canadian Coordinator, the Degree Confluence Project http://www.confluence.org dpatton at confluence dot org My website: http://members.shaw.ca/davepatton/ Vancouver/Whistler - host of the 2010 Winter Olympics |

The lines which are complained about are for colouring my scrollbars. I like the appearance of my scrollbars - I don't want to take them out. |

Thanks for that. I have the footer at the bottom of the viewport if the document canvas is shorter than the viewport, or at the bottom of the canvas if the canvas is longer than the viewport. I got the technique from: http://scott.sauyet.name/CSS/Demo/FooterDemo1.html |
