Default Mastering the Language of Web Design - OR - More Eric Meyer on CSS ??? - 08-05-2004 , 07:22 PM

Hi - I am going to buy a few books on CSS by Eric Meyer - I see that he is
one of the leaders in CSS...

Could somebody give me their opinion about the newer book 'More Eric Meyer
on CSS' ?

How does it compare to the original book 'Eric Meyer on CSS: Mastering the
Language of Web Design' ?

Which one is preferred?

My book budget is limited, and I was thinking of buying one of the above
books plus 'Cascading Style Sheets: The Definitive Guide' (also by Eric
Meyer)

I was also considering buying 'DHTML and CSS for the World Wide Web: Visual
QuickStart Guide' by Author: Jason Cranford Teague - has anybody read this
one?

It is hard to choose when you are buying online

Any help you can share will be much appreciated...

Thanks

Peace,

Johnny

The Definitive Guide is good. It's nice to have a reference book handy.

I personally like the first Eric Meyer on CSS book better than the second
one, but both are good. You might want to get the first one and then
check out www.alistapart.com for some good CSS examples.

just my two cents . . . .
