Default Interrupted Two Column Layouts? - 03-18-2008 , 06:40 PM

I've seen lots of designs for two column layouts, some with headers,
some with headers and footers.

I'd really like a page with a section heading, two columns, then another
block like the section heading, then another two columns, etc.

Does anyone know of anything suitable?

Why wouldn't the same repeated not work? You may wish to add an empty
clearing div with style="clear: both" between sections.

Exactly. The only thing you really need to know in order to
adapt any two-column layout in this fashion, is that you want
to make sure the left and right columns, and any content
wrapper around them, have their CSS specified by class rather
than id (since you want to use the same style declarations for
each section of 2-column layout)

If you need an example, you could look at
http://www.chem.utoronto.ca/~dstone/twocol/equal3.html
- any of the preceding two-column layouts referenced there
could be adapted in the same way, using class instead of
id to specify the relevant styles.

Or a more complex version using an adaptation of Skidoo
three-column layout:
