Default IE6 in XP SP2 - changes in CSS? - 09-10-2004 , 07:39 AM

I just installed Service Pack 2 for WinXP, and IE seems to have some
changes added. However I have yet to spot any changes to its
interpretation of CSS?

Regards,

Hans-Henrik

Were you expecting it to suddenly start working properly?

Don't hold your breath.

I don't know what you have spotted, but it seems unlikely. SP2 didn't modify
the rendering engine used by IE at all IIRC.

No change in CSS ... otherwise, it would have been defined in this very
long 8 part document:
Changes to Functionality in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../sp2chngs.mspx

but there are changes, clear improvements, good steps in the right
direction in the functionalities of window.open() calls.

The site said to use Internet Explorer 5 or better... so I switched to
Netscape 7.2

Anything about the "Content-Type" problem of IE?
