Default need help w/a convoluted form-design.. - 02-15-2008 , 09:36 AM

hi,

I need help with a form-design..

http://www.mayacove.com/misc/form/form.html

in FF can't select the text-box at all to start typing something in it..
in IE, on the other hand, the box is selected when u load the page,
which I also don't want.. (and don't have any code in there that does
that..)

(css validates in w3c validator... (can't post url here, it's too long..)

I left borders on for the div that contains the form (and bg-image) and
for the text-box itself..

need serious help here please... thank you very much..

Start by adding a doc type (transitional if you can't manage strict), an
action for your form and a value for your name input item.

Then things might start behaving in the way they will do "live".

The problem, of course, is with the margins you've set on the textfield.
It's not a complicated layout, certainly you can do this in a less
convoluted fashion. It looks like you just fiddled with it until it
looked the way you wanted.
