3-col suggestion for a shopping cart?

I have to create a web site like this one: http://www.kalunga.com.br
I'll do it 100% in CSS and XHTML 1.0 Strict. I don't know if I should use
position or float to create the 3 columns. Both have their pros and cons.
What would you use?
