Height of columns

Hello all,

I've tried to adopt the design as described on this page:

The difference with my design is that I need all columns to be of even
height and the columns should expand all the way down to the bottom of
the viewport (or lower, if the content is larger).

Please take a look at my code at

In my browser (Firefox and Safari, OS X), the columns fill only till the
end of the viewport, but if the content is larger, this spills over the
bottom of the columns.

Can you please tell me how to achieve the desired effect?

Additionaliy, I would like to align the menu to the right side of the
column. I have experimented with the text-align property but to no
effect. The only thing that did work was setting the left-padding of
#menu (the div containing the menu), but then the layout breaks as soon
as the user enlarges his font size.

Any suggestions?
