Having trouble eliminating space between links in horizontal menu (an unordered list)

Hi folks.

I am having trouble eliminating the space between links in my
horizontal menu which is an unordered list. The menu is fine in
Firefox but not so with IE.

I thought that using no padding with the li's would do the trick but
it is not doing it.

Try no padding AND no margin, as IE and FF space <li> differently.
