Ok, my question is this. I want a div that goes from 100px from the top (so I have room for my top banner) to the bottom - where ever that is - either the bottom of the screen or after the data that's in the div, which would be a simple "hello this is my site" paragraph to a long CV page (i.e. scrolling and non-scrolling pages). But when I state to and bottom attributes (no height of course) it all goes pare shaped div id="Main" style="position: absolute; left: 155px; right: 90px; top: 100px; bottom: 10px; z-index: 1; overflow: auto;" http://www.amykimber.com/temp2.asp - not good. So... have I got the wrong end of the stick somewhere? Is what I'm after possible? If I set the heights of the 6 layers to a % - say, 75% or 80% I get a very similar mess as well. |
