Default Implementing 2 definitions for a particular style (class) - 12-09-2004 , 04:59 AM

Hi,

I am re-using the HTML for the left navigation bar in a different area
of my site in the main content area of my sitemap via a server-side
include. I need to change the appearance of the left navigation text
when it appears in the main content area of the sitemap. The main
content area of the sitemap exists as a separate HTML file.

However, I cannot just change the style definition of the left
navigation text in the stylesheet of the enclosing wrapper HTML
because the sitemap also has a left navigation bar whose text must
follow the current style definition. So in the HTML file containing
the main content area, I included a different stylesheet with the
required definition for the left navigation text (when it appears in
the main content area). However, this does not seem to work, possibly
because <head> exists in the enclosing wrapper HTML, instead of the
file containing the main content area.

I would appreciate any input on how I could resolve this problem.
Thanks.

Regards,
Peter

It would help if you can post an url. It's difficult to provide a
solution for your problem without seeing the source.
