Default first float is lower, why ? - 07-21-2004 , 06:34 AM

http://www.houndsofheaven.com/hoh2/d...Dog_Shows.html

note that the first ribbon the "Dog Show Experiences" is about 10 px
(the padding of the div) lower than the rest of the floats in Mozilla.
It is not in MSIE. I presume that Mozilla is doing it right and I am not.

It looks like I have two paddings together, but I just can't see why.

This is a quick and dirty proof of concept and uses both a linked css
file and some inline styles.

all comments appreciated about this problem and/or general styling
issues. I am working hard to move from html.

the problem was a space the crept in. padding; 10 px |= padding: 10px
validating the css gave me the answer. duh
