CSS error - help!

I'm confused as to why I'm getting this CSS error at the validator:

Any ideas? I can't see anything wrong with the style sheet

I just copied your entire stylesheet into one of my own, uploaded it, and
attempted to validate it at W3C. I got:

No error or warning found
Congratulations!
This document validates as CSS!

The content of your stylesheet appears, as you believe, to be valid. The
warning/error appears to arise elsewhere. Yet your XHTML validates too.

(ps: nice clean attractive page).

I guess you get the error, when you don't submit direct to the css
file (just http://billericaychoral.org.uk/ was submitted). When I
submitted the css link as http://billericaychoral.org.uk/main
(should't it be main.css ?) there was no errors or warnings. :-)

My server will find the appropriate filetype from the name: it's Apache's
MultiViews.

This is a bug in the CSS Validator. I've fixed it and once the online
version of the CSS Validator gets updated the error will disappear.

Interesting. I hav'nt test it and don't remember seeing it either
before now. When I tested it now, it does'nt work on Apache server I'm
on. Is it common for hosts with Apache to configure the servers so
file extentions can be left out?

You need to add "Options MultiViews" to your httpd.conf or .htaccess file.
You also need to be careful not to have files and directories with the same
name (excluding the extension).

I use this extensively at all my sites:

http://billericaybaptist.net/
http://billericaychoral.org.uk/

You shouldn't find any extensions in URLs on those sites, except to
documents on other servers.

This allows me to move html pages to php, change graphic file formats etc
without updating links or setting up redirection.
