... do you realize that you are talking to yourself?

Ed, I told you about when I went to the doc about this condition of
mine, didn't I?

"What is the matter?", asks the doctor.
"Doctor, I talk to myself"
"That's OK, plenty of people talk to themselves"
"But Doctor, I talk to myself a lot"
"It's nothing to worry about, it is not so bad ..."
"Ah! But Doctor, you don't understand how boring I am!"

While that can be a good idea, it is a simple matter - a mindset, really
- to just remember to look through the quoted material, trim as
necessary, then begin to type your reply after that text.

Marvelous! Thank you for your considerations.

Drat! The guitar store was closed Saturday for the 4th! <grumble

I really wanted to try the James Goodall MHSA:

My wife agrees with your sentiments on guitar stands. She wishes to
convey she has one more guitar than stands and said send one to her!

Golly, I'd like to oblige but as I sat here thinking about it I
realized
like them all too much to part with any of them! ;-)

If you're looking for a really great guitar and want one specially
built, try http://www.kenmillerguitars.com/
The prices are comparable to Gibson and other well known manufacturers.

I will look at them, thanks!

Are you into bluegrass? We just came from Steve Kaufman's Acoustics
Kamp and many of the top notch flatpickers use Ken Miller guitars.

Poke around my site, I'm into mostly folk, country etc. Some stuff that
could be bluegrass (Prine's Muhlenberg County/Paradise). But my friends
will come up with Beatles and all manner of other stuff. That is the
great thing about a jam session: No telling what's gonna arise. Lots of
times I will sit back and enjoy, not play, no need to. Just listen.

We just had a jam here in June. I'm still editing the recordings. HOURS
and hours of it. All sorts of genres. But, just good people enjoying
each other and the music.

I must admit I'm getting kinda itchy to buy another guitar. Although,
next Friday we're having a new A/C unit installed so, sigh, I may have
to wait a bit. The wife was all over me to get a new guitar until the
new A/C for $3K fell on us. Dang.

There is a list called flatpickl that you might be interested in. Many
guitar players on the list from Steve's Kamp. I think you can share
much information about music there. I don't subscribe, my wife does and
has met many new friends.

Thanks for that. I'll check it out.
