characters playing havoc with text

Some how I'm getting the following inserted on my webpage between text
words:

ÂfÃfÂ,Ã,Â,ÃfÂfÂ

What is causing this and how do I fix it? I tried deleting the characters,
but everytime it seems to return. I never had this problem before, but today
it seemed to appear.

repeatedly answered and asked for a URL which you still haven't given?
