Best Netscape pluggin to play embedded .wav files on Windows? -

The 'normal' NetScape QuickTime pluggin will play embedded .wav files
but steals focus from a web page (form elements, etc.) while it plays,
and won't restore the focus even if the user clicks in the element. (One
must first click on a window, then the element...very irksome).
I have tried setting a different mime type in the embed tag and used a
different sound file format, trying to get NetScape to use another
pluggin sound driver (Windows media player DLL) to play...for example,
wma sound file format.
Well, the appropriate pluggin seems to be called, and the system
indeed does NOT steal focus from the current page. But... no
sound comes out either.
Anybody know what might be going on? (As per wma sound files especially)
