Useful topic headings - they really give people a cluse about what's
in the newsletter, don't they?

I'm sure something in that newsletter is useful, but what? Is it just
stealth spam? I think it is.

I like the "Term of the day". It assumes that there is someone out there who
understands the OSI Reference Model and in particular the Data Link Layer, but
who needs an explanation of the term "Switch"

Does such a person exist? I think not.

You mean tu ne comprends pas? The "OSI Reference Model" is a Hornby
train set in their basement, and the "Data Link Layer" is a pile of
printed Excel spreadhsheets on the filing cabinet. The "switch" makes
the room dark or light by allowing the passage of electricity to a
lightbulb. Easy.
