Default Gradient Question - 07-15-2004 , 11:47 AM

Hi Guys,

I was looking at the Microsoft website and I noticed this nice little
gradient going on at the top (where the search option and the Logo is set).

After checking the code of the page, I came the conclusion I have NO clue
how to such a gradient myself.

It does not appear to have an image of some kind, because after changing the
windowsize it changed with it.

Does anyone have a clue and can help me to create such a gradient?

Thanks a lot!

Kevin

You don't want to recreate it. It is a piece of propietry code, tags
that are only obeyed in Internet Explorer (as far as I know).

If you're desperate to break compatibility, take a look here:
http://webmonkey.wired.com/webmonkey...l?tw=authoring

Although most people use Internet Explorer, I'd still advise caution.

Saying that, have fun!

I'm pretty sure Webmonkey uses static JPEG files to show you the
results. On the first page, "NEED" shoud be in funky writing; but isn't
in Firefox 0.9.2 for me.
