Probably not the right place to post but here it goes.
We have users that maintain spreadsheets either locally or on a shared drive
and our internal site has links to these files. works fine. but now we have
other users to the site that may not have acces to the shared drive so we
are wanting to be able to let the user upload the file to a web directory
that all users can access the files that have a link. if it doesn't have a
link then we would have to create one but i'm getting off what i want to do.
i need a simple way for the user to be able to upload their file to a
specified web directory. i know how to do the browse stuff but the upload
part is tricky. would like to either be able to do it purely in html or if
possible jsp.
any ideas?
Bill

It's not possible in simple html (client side).
With jsp you can find alot of samples( ex.
http://www.oop-reserch.com/cross_servlet.html ).
In any case you need something server side to do such operations
(php, asp, cgi ...).

Have a nice day.
