printing html pages - height = 100% problem

I have a problem in printing html pages. I have a table with height of
100% inside html page. Now when i print preview my HTML page it shows
two pages. The data is on first page whereas the second page is all
empty. Does any1 know what is the problem because i presume that its
the problem with height=100% thing. But still i wanna make sure, why is
it such that.

Printing is always going to be an issue for documents on the WWW. There
are more printers than you can shake a stick at, with different user
settings. If you need something to be printer perfect, send it to PDF.
