how to define the size of tooltip box ? bcoz tooltip is multilined

Are there any means to define the size of tooltip box in html while
using title attribute to show tooltip. because it automatically formats
the text and makes the tooltip multilined which ofcourse is not
desirable. can anyone there to help?

Can't be done in HTML. Perhaps it's possible in Javascript. Try
comp.lang.javascript.
