Thanx for the tip. I've tried setting everything to "low", accepting all
cookies etc. with no success.

I've thrown up a little testsite, maybe you could try that out?

When you open the window a javascript pop-up tells you the content of
the cookie ("false" if none). Try writing something in the textarea and
press ctrl+N, it should show you, that the cookie contains what you
wrote. Closing all windows and entering the page again shows that the
cookie is empty again - at least in my case.
