I think you'll find more people would be happy if you didn't describe
Linux as (DOS on steroids as it most definately isn't - but hey, this
isn't the place for an OS war)

Also, I would prefer custom graphics for the site..

Then you need a graphic artist. Webmasters don't tend to do the drawing
bit - that's a specialised activity.

The project that Children of the Sun superseded is called Children of Fire.
It's the same project; but was for Linux. The site, written by me, is at
http://childoffire.sourceforge.net .

Why don't you use something like libRPG and allow it to work under a
variety of operating systems, at least that way you get the product to a
much wider audience. Making a text based adventure platform specific is
pretty daft if you ask me.
