iframe scrolling problem

I'm having problems getting scrollbars to appear using the 'scrolling'
attribute of the 'iframe' tag, and I'm wondering if anyone can help
me.

I would expect the following code to produce a horizontal scrollbar at
the bottom of the iframe if my browser resolution is set to less than
950 width, but for some reason it doesn't. Does anyone have any idea
why not?

I am using IE6, which does support iframes. The iframe is being
displayed OK, but it is not displaying the scrollbars, even with
scrolling="yes" set.

I believe you may have misunderstood my question.

The iframe's horizontal scrollbar will appear when the iframe's content
is wider than 950px, since it's scrollbar is for scrolling iframe
content and not your browser's contents.

I'll bet your *browser*'s horizontal scrollbar appears when you resize
your window < 950px, since it's content consists of an element that's
explicitly set to 950px.
